Austin is amazing! We have 3 large breed dogs who can be challenging at times. Austin handles them with great care- feeding, walking, etc. We know they are in such good hands with him and we are able to travel worry-free. He even send us pictures and videos while we are gone. And he leaves the house immaculate! We highly recommend him and his services.

We had a great experience and will definitely be looking for Austin when we travel next! He is a wonderful and considerate petsitter. I highly recommend him!!

Austin is the best! Our sitter canceled last minute and we ended up reaching out to Austin. We could not be more thankful that we did. He stayed with our pups for a week and we felt completely at ease. Our dogs were so happy. He even won over our slow to warm up pup. Could not recommend him more!

We have a 10-month-old puppy that we had never left before, so we weren’t sure how he would do with someone new. Austin did a great job sticking to Toby’s routine and regularly sent pictures and videos to reassure us that he was doing well. We were able to relax and truly enjoy our trip knowing our puppy (and our home) were well taken care of.

I was nervous about leaving my 130-pound Saint Bernard, Ranger, for nine days while I went to Hawaii, and boarding him that long didn’t feel right. Hiring Austin turned out to be a great choice. Ranger liked him right away, and it was clear he knew how to handle a big dog. He sent regular photo and video updates and even took Ranger to the Holiday parade. When my return got delayed, he covered an extra night without any trouble. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog and would definitely hire Austin again.

I was already on the East Coast helping my family with some medical issues when I realized I needed someone to watch my dog, Charlie. Austin stepped in quickly and took over until I could get home. The updates he sent and the way he cared for her gave me so much relief during a really stressful time. I never had to worry about Charlie, and that meant everything. I’m really grateful for his help and would absolutely recommend him.

I’ve always boarded my dogs for family trips, but now that two of them are older and have health issues, I just couldn’t do it anymore. I hired Austin for Thanksgiving and it was such a relief. He followed their tricky feeding and medication schedule, kept me updated, and really seemed to care about them. I got to actually enjoy the ski trip without stressing the whole time. I came home to happy dogs, tails wagging. I’ll definitely call him again.

Austin watched our two dogs for two weeks while we were out of the country. It was so much more relaxing to know both dogs were home where they are happier and that they were walked and loved on every day. Austin sent us daily cute pics or videos showing the dogs having fun. It was great to arrive home to a clean house with the mail delivered, plants watered and happy dogs! It was obvious they had truly connected with Austin and we did not have the distressing 3 days of having been at the kennel. We highly recommend Austin to care for your house and pets, super trustworthy and very nice guy. Excellent communicator!

Our dogs loved Austin! He took excellent care of them, even transporting one of them to the vet when necessary. We arrived home to a clean house! He was great about sending us photos and reports! Very responsible and knowledgeable.

Austin was an incredible house/pet sitter! Our dog developed a serious medical issue while we were overseas. Because our vet couldn’t see him for a week, he found a specialist who was able to get him in right away. Thanks to his diligence and quick-thinking, our dog is in far better condition than he would have been he they not taken action right away. He also managed his medications and follow-up appointments and left us detailed instructions when we got back. In addition, our house was spotless when we arrived. We are so thankful to him, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Austin was everything you need from a pet sitter. Our home was in better shape than we left it. Dogs looked content. We hope he will return.

Austin was great with Cocoa. He sent pictures daily of their outings and hikes. Cocoa took to him immediately. The house looked great and everything seemed to be in order when we returned.

Austin is a GREAT sitter. He took amazing care of our home and our pup; we were honestly afraid he would leave with them. He’s a pro on every level and he goes the extra mile. He gave Dr. Pepper a bath and made us dessert from our fruit as welcome home gifts. You’ll be lucky to have him.

FABULOUS! Honestly, we couldn’t ask for a better sitter. We came home to happy cats and a spotless home. And he kept us updated on our fur babies, sending some cute and entertaining pics our way. We didn’t have a single concern or regret, and we’d have him back anytime.

We can honestly say that as a sitter for our kitties for the first time, Austin is more than welcome back to our West Asheville home. He was very responsive and respectful, and asked us fabulous questions based upon other sitter experiences. Thank you so much for caring for Nonie and Mandarin!

Austin took amazing care of Oliver, our 17 year old cat, who required multiple meds, and frequent feedings, and asked for lots of belly rubs. His communication was prompt and consistent. He sent photos and videos of Oliver regularly. The house was clean and well taken care of. He was flexible when our trip was extended and able to stay on a couple extra days. We would highly recommend Austin to care for your cat(s) and home.

Austin was wonderful! The house was left clean and organized. Sunny got lots of walks and playtime. We got pictures and updates every day. I would highly recommend him to anyone and we plan to use him again next year.

Austin was just wonderful. We felt completely relaxed about leaving our dog Heidi with him. He took her to work with him, as she doesn’t like to be left at home all day, took her for plenty of walks and was very communicative with us the whole time. Your pet will be in really good hands!

We just arrived home to a very content dog and perfectly spotless home! Austin was an exceedingly competent and conscientious house and dog sitter. Before our trip, we spoke twice to confirm information and cover any expectations and questions we each had. During the trip, Austin was so good about checking in each day with pictures, videos and information about Olive. While Olive was timid upon his arrival, it was evident that she warmed right up to him! We felt completely at ease with Austin taking care of everything while we were away. If you are lucky enough to snag him for a sit, don’t hesitate!

Austin is truly fantastic. This was our 3rd time having him come and stay for the whole summer. Both of my dogs are so excited to see him upon arrival and will sit outside the guest room in protest when he leaves. He is very neat and respectful of our home and sends photos of their adventures daily. Austin makes sure my active pups get their exercise and all the cuddles too.

Austin was everything a person is looking for in a house/pet sitter. He is kind, clean, organized, responds promptly, sends lots of pictures, and most importantly…absolutely love animals. We know our Luna had a wonderful weekend with him. She got lots of exercise and cuddles. We were able to enjoy our time away, worry-free, knowing Luna was in good hands. We’ll certainly be inviting Austin back for another house sit, and highly recommend him to others!

Austin is amazing. It was clear from the get go that he views house sitting as he would a job and so is professional in the way he goes about it. He also has a love for dogs which was evident on how he interacted with our two Frenchies. He is really good fun, and on our return, the house was spotless and both the dogs had been really looked after. Cannot recommend him enough.

Austin was amazing. We were gone for three weeks and he regularly sent us photos of our two Havanese pups along with stories of their antics and adventures. It was clear he truly enjoyed our dogs. When we got home the house was spotless, the dogs were happy, and everything was just as we had hoped. Such a relief knowing our dogs were being loved and cared for while we were away! We highly recommend him.

Austin was a great sitter, taking great care of our kitties and our house. He communicated when there was a need and kept us apprised of our kitties with pictures. He left our place looking better than it was when we left. We would be happy to have him sit for us again.

No review can adequately express our experience with Austin. He exceeded our expectations in every possible way. He cared for my daughter’s crazy young golden, Riley, for a week and our 12 year old grumpy medically-challenged shih-tzu, Bella, for a month. He administered liquid meds and eye drops, among multiple other pills, on a complex schedule to uncooperative Bella. He alerted me to a growth on Bella’s mouth that he thought needed attention and sent me a picture so I could show the vet. When the vet said it needed to be removed, he prepped her for surgery, took her and picked her up, administered all her new meds, nursed her back to health and kept us posted every step of the way. He provided love and cuddles and regular pictures and funny videos to document it, gave Bella a bath and a trim to make her more comfortable, and tolerated with love and humor Bella’s loud snoring.

He even snow plowed our driveway AND OUR ELDERLY NEIGHBOR’S DRIVEWAY. He left house cleaner and more in order than when we left, and left homemade chocolate peanut butter cookies to welcome us home. I would absolutely trust with any pet or any home anytime. He is caring, thoughtful, responsible, communicative, fun, funny and really just above and beyond in every way.

Austin was just terrific and my critters were so happy when I got home. My kitty cat need extra attention because of an injury — I came back to a healthy cat. Austin really went above and beyond. I will be calling him every time we are headed out of town. :)

Austin was fantastic. We couldn’t be more pleased with him housesitting. He took great care of our home and even left us with a couple of little gadgets to make our lives easier. And when one of our cats suddenly got sick, he was so on it. After coordinating with him, he took her to our vet, gave her the medicine, took care of her as needed, and kept us apprised the whole time. We felt such a relief knowing he was there to care of our pets. And our cats seemed to bond with him too as evidenced by all the great photos he sent us while we were away. We can’t say enough good things about Austin and highly recommend him.

Austin is extraordinary! He is organized, responsible, reliable, excellent with communications, energetic and good-natured, remarkably tidy and respectful. My cat Ginger savored his attention and care — she was calm, content, and relaxed when I returned. But it is the intangibles that makes Austin stand out: I was distracted with family medical crises while away and he kindly anticipated and took care of many unexpected household concerns so that I didn’t have to worry about everyday issues. Ginger’s well-being and maintaining my house were his clear priorities, which gave me the support I needed to focus on my family. He has my highest recommendation.

Austin was a delight to have housesit and watch our two dogs, Izzy and Charlie, while we were gone for close to a month this past winter. Communication with him was easy and clear/timely right from the get go and he was super accommodating with our flexible departure and return dates. He took great care of our home and was in regular contact with little updates and photos from his outings with the dogs.

We thought our new puppy, Izzy, would be going into heat later in the spring after we’d returned but she started EARLY. We were horrified! Austin was great about the whole situation and assured us it was no problem. He got her little doggy diapers and made sure she was well-cared for and stayed away from other dogs. We so appreciated his attentive and loving care of her, Charlie, and also of our home. We could not recommend him more highly.

Kitty and I are so grateful to have Austin care for our dog and home during our three-week winter trip abroad! Sebastian is an old dog with chronic health issues and Austin demonstrated quickly that he could manage the frequent ear cleanings and medications. We found Austin to be highly competent, responsible and trustworthy. We were impressed with the genuine care and love he showed Sebastian. Right away he recommended and ordered a supplement designed for improving his weakened hips.

We also appreciated his comfort with things like using a wood-burning stove, warding off unwanted wildlife (like predatory blue herons), and everything tech. His communications were regular and fun. We are so grateful to have had this chance to get to know him and hope to have the chance to work with him again in the future!

Austin was a great housesitter! He was prompt with communication, took great care of our pups and left the house very clean. We would definitely use him again and recommend him.

Austin was a wonderful pet- and house-sitter for us. He was very easy to communicate with, gave us plenty of updates, and left the house in pristine condition for our return. Austin was the best we could hope for. Not only did we get along personally but he loved our cat and our home and cared for both as if they were his own. The house and laundry were cleaned and folded, kitchen spotless and cat in love with him. I could not recommend him more.

Austin was wonderful! Not only did he take absolute care of our dogs and house, but he went the extra mile to bring in our plants when we had a sudden hard freeze. He gave updates with the dogs and house and left the house tidy, with laundry neatly folded and the most delicious cupcakes! We recommend him without hesitation!

Austin took great care of Abril and Elliot (and our flat) during our two-week trip. He was indeed a fabulous temporary “parent” for our two small, lively Yorkies. During our absence, he sent daily updates with beautiful photos and videos of the pups, so we could always be assured that all was well. He also happily took Abril to the vet for a small intervention. We came back to a perfectly clean apartment — and two dogs sad to see him leave.
